12/10 food, had the best pasta, bruschetta and pizza in all of Mexico. Sarah was our server all 3 nights and was a big reason (on top of the incredible food) of why we kept coming back. The cocktails were made with great portions and fantastic ingredients! I also felt great after every meal which was a plus. Also got to play chess which was awesome.

Went here for lunch at noon. Only me here. I'm as usual early and not really in vacation mode yet. Bianka, one of the staff, was friendly, chatty and service was fast. There is one to two house dogs you can pet, and chess to play while you wait (if you have friends). Plenty of options for everyone, with clearly marked vegetarian and vegan dishes. Had the vegan pizza, and it was great. Large portion, almost a bit too much for one person. But it all went down. Plays great soul/reggae/soft music, makes you want to stay for another cerveza. Fast wifi, accept credit card (but mine didn't work, which is usually does).

We had an incredible time - we sat outside, had a bottle of wine and were met with the most attentive service by Sara- make sure to say hi to her! The pasta is delicious- gluten free, and made in house! I couldn’t have asked for a better hidden gem. We’re visiting from SanFrancisco, California and felt right at home just like our cozy neighborhood go-to. Thank you and we’ll be sure to visit every time we are back! Gracias, Sara!

We just ate at Santas Iguanas tonight and it was fabulous! We ordered the Ravioli and the Lasagna vegan style. Both dishes were exquisite! The Ravioli sauce is amazing! The Vegan Lasagna was the best Ive ever had. Our server was Gina. She was friendly and efficient and warm and hospitable. The owner Angelo is very friendly and stopped by to say hello. This is Sayulita at its best! Can’t wait to go back.

This cool spot is run by two Italian guys from Torino who moved to Sayulita during the COVID days, about four years ago. The restaurant’s name was inspired by the two iguanas that live in their garden! As you’d expect from Italians, they serve up delicious, authentic pasta, along with a great mix of popular international dishes and well-made drinks. It’s a fun, laid-back place to hang out and enjoy good food in good company.

During our stay in Sayulita, we found ourselves returning to Santas Iguanas twice in one week, it’s that good! This cozy Italian spot delivers on both flavor and atmosphere, making it a standout choice for a delicious meal. I couldn’t resist trying the Iguana Pasta, and it did not disappoint. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce had an incredible depth of flavor that balanced richness with just the right amount of spice. My girlfriend had the gluten-free Bolognese pasta, and she loved every bite. It’s not always easy to find good gluten-free options, but SantasIguanas nailed it with their homemade pasta and hearty, slow-cooked sauce. The drinks here are just as impressive as the food. Whether you’re in the mood for a refreshing cocktail or a well-paired glass of wine, the bar has something for everyone. The atmosphere is laid-back yet inviting, perfect for a casual dinner or a romantic night out. A special shoutout to Sarah, our amazing waitress, who made our visit even better with her friendly service and great recommendations. If you’re in Sayulita and craving Italian food, Santa’s Iguanas is a must-visit!
